A brief introduction to the party

   The Communist Party of China was founded in 1921. For the first time, the Communist Party of China put forward the revolutionary program against imperialism and feudalism. In 1924, under the condition of cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China, the Communist Party of China set off the first climax of the national revolution. However, due to the rebellion of the big bourgeoisie and the capitulationism error in the party, the revolution failed.

   After the failure of the great revolution in 1927, the Communist Party of China implemented the general policy of agrarian revolution and armed uprising. The Chinese Communists who thought they represented opened up the road of Encircling Cities in rural areas and seizing power by armed forces, set off the first agrarian revolution, and finally ended with the long march. In 1937, Japan launched a comprehensive war of aggression against China. The Kuomintang and the Communist Party cooperated for the second time. The Party led the army and people behind the enemy to resolutely fight with the Japanese aggressors. After eight years of hard struggle, it finally won the great victory of the war of resistance against Japan.

   After 1956, China experienced many twists and turns and mistakes in socialist construction. In 1978, the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China shifted the focus of the work of the party and the state to modernization, thus realizing a great turning point of far-reaching significance in the history of the party and the country since the founding of new China.

   In 1923, the party's three major conferences: the party's Congress held in the torrent of revolution; The Fourth National Congress of the party in 1925: the party's Congress held in the torrent of revolution; The Fifth National Congress of the party in 1927: the party's Congress held in the torrent of revolution; The Sixth National Congress of the CPC in 1928: the only Party Congress held abroad; The party's Seventh National Congress in 1945: establishing the guiding position of thought in the whole Party;

   The 15th CPC National Congress in 1997: hold high the great banner of theory; The 16th CPC National Congress in 2002: a meeting to keep pace with the times; The 17th CPC National Congress in 2007: the conference of scientific development and building harmony; The 18th CPC National Congress in 2012: building a well-off society in an all-round way; The 19th CPC National Congress in 2017: it is a very important conference held at the decisive stage of building a well-off society in an all-round way and the critical period of socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new era.

Party history in the red landmark

   In the Spring Festival of 2021, many red landmarks in Shanghai, Jinggangshan and Yan'an ushered in a batch of first intention seekers.

   The first National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held here on July 23, 1921; It announced the birth of the Communist Party of China. This is the place where the Communist Party of China dreams to set sail. It is also the spiritual home of the Chinese Communists. On July 30, 1921, the commemorative ship "red boat" of the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China was harassed by secret agents from the French concession. The last meeting of the first National Congress of the Communist Party of China was transferred to a cruise ship in Nanhu, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province. The meeting adopted the party's program and working resolution and elected the central leading organ.
